Description:

Born from a passion for wildlife and a desire to share its secrets and beauty, this family-run game ranch is tucked away in the exquisite and ruggedly beautiful Rooirante area of northern Zululand. A beautiful retreat that has never ending vistas of rolling hills and valleys.

Unique ecosystems of riverine, lowveld bushveld and montane grassland which provide a rich diversity and sustain a large quantity of bird and animal species.  For ornithologists and bird-lovers, Mkuze Ranch is a must !

THE LODGE
This 10 bed self-catered lodge offers a casual, intimate and airy central complex. The lounge, dining, kitchen and bar areas are all open plan, leading onto a spacious deck area where it`s so easy to lose oneself in the views of the valley and opposite hill watching the movements of the ever-graceful giraffe and zebra nodding their way along, whilst impala groups graze peacefully. A sigh comes naturally as the city clutter washes off your shoulders while you contemplate a refreshing cool-off in the pool on those Zululand summer days.
